Interclass Competitions on the occasion of National Science Day 

The National Science Day celebrations organized by Science & Nature Club on 28/02/2024 featured two competitions open to students from all streams. The photography competition aimed to raise awareness of sustainable practices, while the Innovative Entrepreneur competition encouraged creative solutions for sustainable development. Judges included Dr. Wethroe Kapfo, HOD of Department of Biochemistry, and Sri Niranth M R, Assistant Professor of Management. Students showcased their understanding of sustainability through photography and innovative problem-solving, highlighting the integration of science for a sustainable future. 

Guest Lecture on "Grin and Grow"

On February 27, 2024, the college auditorium was abuzz with anticipation as the teaching and non-teaching staff members gathered for a guest lecture on the topic "Grin and Grow." The event aimed to delve into the correlation between humor, personal growth, and resilience. Mr. NH Ananda, a distinguished stand-up artist and comedian, graced the occasion as the guest speaker. His expertise in using humor as a tool for personal development added a unique perspective to the discussion.The event commenced with a warm felicitation to the guest speaker by Prof. Sainath Mallige Madu, the esteemed Principal of the college. Dr. Devaki, the staff coordinator was present during the session. The program was presided by the principal The role of Master of Ceremony was adeptly handled by Brunda, the Head of the English Department and Dr. Wethro Kapfo, HoD of Biochemistry department delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Mr. NH Ananda for his enlightening session.The event witnessed active participation from both teaching and non-teaching staff members.

Interclass Debugging competition

On 27/2/2024 the Department of Computer Science in association with Tech Amateur IT Club had organized an interclass Debugging competition for all the BCA and BSc Computer Science students.

The Debugging competition requires students to identify and fix issues in code quickly and efficiently. The objective of conducting this competition is to improve problem-solving skills and improve debugging skills of the students. By participating in such competitions students can become more proficient in coding languages and understanding how to spot errors in code.

A total of 65 students took part in the Debugging Competition and the following students were the winners: I Prize- Unathi - I B.Sc, II Prize- Chandana T - III BCA, and III Prize -Keerthana M – I BCA ‘A’

Book Exhibition on the occasion of National Science Day

Book exhibition was held to commemorate National Science Day  at MMK & SDM MMV Library on 28/02/2024. Books on C V Raman, biographies of Scientists and other science related books were  displayed. The exhibition created an awareness about the Contributions of Sir C V Raman to the field of Physics and the recent discoveries in the field of Science. 

 Students and faculty members of the college visited and viewed the exhibition.

Guest Lecture Programme on "IELTS, GMAT, CAT EXAMINATIONS”

Career Guidance and Placement cell in Association with Manya - The Princeton Review, Study Abroad Consultant organized a Guest Lecture on "IELTS, GMAT, CAT Examinations” for all final year degree students on 28.02.2024 at 10.50 AM.

Resource Person Smt. Mukta Sadanada, Director and Centre head and Pruthvi G More, BDM & Faculty of ‘Princeton Review’, has trained more than 1000 study abroad aspirants in the city for close to a decade now. 

In the lecture, the resource persons discussed the opportunities after graduation to pursue higher studies abroad, focusing on IELTS, CAT, GMAT exams, and scholarships, shed light on the different avenues available for ambitious graduates seeking to further their education on an international stage.

Sri. Mahadevaswamy S, Coordinator of Career Guidance and Placement Cell and Dr Sudhamani M, organizer of the Guest Lecture program were present throughout the session.

National Science Day

On February 28, 2024, MMK and SDM MMV celebrated National Science Day. The Programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Chaitra Narayan, founder of Codagu AGRITECH and a syndicate member of the University of Mysore. Prof. Saintha Malligemadu, the Principal, presided over the session, with Smt. Bharathi N, Vice Principal, and Smt. Sukrutha K S, IQAC Coordinator, as distinguished guests.

In the inaugural speech,the chief guest, Dr. Chaitra Narayan has motivated the students to dream about establishing their own enterprise and be confident in actualising the dream. She has cited her own example and enumerated her experience, and how she was happy  when she received awards from the Hon'ble President of India and Prime Minister of the country.

The session centered around the significance of National Science Day and its relevance in fostering scientific inquiry and innovation. Through engaging discussions and presentations, students were encouraged to appreciate the role of science in addressing societal challenges. The event aimed to inspire students to pursue excellence in scientific endeavors, contribute to societal progress and towards financial independence and the pursuit of meaningful goals. The speaker passionately articulated the importance of empowering women to take control of their financial destinies, emphasizing that economic autonomy is a cornerstone of true empowerment.

In the presidential address, Prof. Sainath Malligemadu, principal, informed students about the existence of entrepreneurship cell and innovation and incubation centre in the college,where you can do your research and formalize your synopsis.

Alumni Faculty Programme on "JAVA Programming"

On 21st February 2024, Department of Computer Science organized an Alumni Faculty Program, Smt Sowmya M S, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, Vijaya College, Bangalore conducted the AFP. She was an alumna of the MMK & SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (B Sc 2000-03 batch).

Smt. Sowmya M S delivered a session on the topic Inheritance in Java to I BCA ‘A’ section students. In her session she explained the mechanism of how one object acquires the behaviors of a parent object. She also discussed different types of inheritance, benefits and applications of inheritance.

Smt. Sukrutha K S, HoD of the Computer Science Department welcomed the alumna and Smt. Nayana M P, Assistant Professor of Computer Science introduced the alumna to the students. A total of 56 students were benefitted by this programme.

Guest lecture Program on "Robotics"

On 27th February 2024, Department of Computer Science hosted an engaging guest lecture on "Robotics" featuring esteemed industry expert, Mr. Channabasava Chola, Research scholar, Electronics and Information Convergence, Kyung Hee University Republic Korea. With 89 students in attendance, along with computer science staff members, the event was a remarkable gathering of individuals eager to explore the latest advancements in robotics technology. 

Mr. Channabasava Chola, presentation delved into the forefront of robotics, covering topics ranging from artificial intelligence algorithms to practical applications across diverse industries. Through real-world examples, attendees gained insights into the transformative potential of robotics in fields such as healthcare, manufacturing and space exploration. Following the lecture, an interactive session provided a platform for students and staff members to engage directly with Mr. Channabasava Chola. Questions, discussions, and shared experiences enriched the learning experience, fostering deeper understanding and appreciation for the complexities of robotics technology. Such events serve as invaluable opportunities for academic communities to stay informed, connected, and inspired by the forefront of technological advancement.

ನಗರದ ಎಂ ಎಂ ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ ಮಂಜುನಾಥೇಶ್ವರ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದ  ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಎ.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ತರಬೇತುದಾರ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಂ.ಎನ್ ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಅವರು ನೆರವೇರಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯು ಗೌರವದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ದೈಹಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಧೃಡತೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವ ಜನಾಂಗ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಉತ್ತಮ ತರಬೇತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿತರಬಹುದು, ಇದರಿಂದ ಯಶಸ್ಸು, ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ, ಹಣ, ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿ ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು, ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವ ಜನಾಂಗವು ದೃಢವಾದ ಶಾರೀರ ಮತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯಪುರ್ಣವಾದ ಜೀವನ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ದಿನವೂ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡುಗುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವೆಂದು ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು

ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ ಸಾಯಿನಾಥ್ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆಮಾಡು ಅವರು ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಠ್ಯದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪಠ್ಯೇತರ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಾಶಸ್ತ್ಯ ನೀಡಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ  ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಡ್ರ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಬಹಿಸುತ್ಯಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಯಾವುದಾದರು ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ಥಿತಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ  ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಹಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಪೋಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜೇಶ್,  ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪರಮೇಶ್,  ಕಾಲೇಜು ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಘಟಕದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಸುಕೃತ, ಉಪ‌ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ ಎನ್ ಭಾರತಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮಪಾಲನಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೊ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಜಿ ಕಾವಾ, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಾಲತಿ, ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕೇತರ ವೃಂದದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿರು ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನ ಮಾಡಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಜ್ಯೋತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದ‌ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನೂರು,ನಾಲ್ಕನೂರು, ಎಂಟನೂರು,ಸಾವಿರದ ಐನೂರು ಓಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎತ್ತರ ಜಿಗಿತ, ಉದ್ದ ಜಿಗಿತ, ಜಾವಲಿನ್ ಥ್ರೋ, ಗುಂಡು ಎಸೆತ, ರಿಲೆ  ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ  ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೊಜಿಸಿ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಹಿತು.

Career Guidance and Placement in Association with GoStudy-Overseas Educational Consultancy organized a Guest Lecture on " Overseas Educational Opportunities" for all final year degree students on 21.02.2024.

Resource Person Smt.Keerthy B Rao, Regional Manager Business Development who has 22 years of experience in Sales and Marketing introduced students the benefits of studying abroad and information about different programs and destinations. 

Prof.Sainath Malligemadu, Principal gave inputs to students about studying abroad is a life changing experience that can broaden students horizons and open doors to existing opportunities.

Day 2 at NSS Annual Special Camp 

On Day 2(13/02/2023) of the annual NSS camp of MMK and SDM MMV at Udhburu village, Mysore, a rally was organized to raise awareness about plastic usage.

The rally started at Govt High School in Udhburu.  'No plastic for a good environment' and 'Clean land, green land' were among the slogans used by NSS volunteers. In the afternoon, the NSS committee organized an interaction session on 'HUMAN RIGHTS' with Sri Adhishaya Kumar, an advocate and resource person for the program. The topics of conversation included poverty, nonviolent assembly, violence and discrimination against women and girls, sexual orientation and gender identity, and freedom of expression etc. Smt. Chaitra N, HoD, Mathematics department, presided over the program.  Ms. Bhuvaneshwari S, an assistant professor of the Indian constitution department, was also present.

In the evening, a special guest  lecture was given by Smt. Smitha Devaiah, an advocate from Mysore, and the topic of lecture was "KAANOONU ARIVU NERAVU". The event was presided over by Sri. Prashanth Jain H V, who is an Assistant Professor and also the Head of the Department of Commerce. The lecture proved to be highly informative, providing the students with valuable knowledge on various aspects such as women's rights, legal protection, the significance of educating girl children, and their contributions to society. Smt. Anitha P Jayaram, NSS coordinator, Sri. B. N. Maruthi Prasanna, NSS Member, Ms. Bhargavi HG, Ms. Prathima, Ms. Sandhya S and all NSS Volunteers were part of all the programs.

A Visit to Blind Government School by YRC 

Mysruru, Feb 22: The Youth Red Cross(YRC) unit of MMK and SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a visit to Blind Government School, Tilak Nagar, Mysore. The visit aimed at educating YRC volunteers about blindness and visual impairment, including the challenges faced by those who are visually impaired and the strategies they use to navigate the world. During the visit Mr. Syed Sadath, YRC co-ordinator, Ms. Anitha H B, YRC member and 25 YRC volunteers were present. 

one day workshop on 'Fundamentals of research writing, reporting and publishing' 

On 20th Feb, 2024 the department of the Library organised a one day workshop on 'Fundamentals of research writing, reporting and publishing'. Prof.Sainath Malligemadu presided over the program, Dr. D Anand, Director, College Development council, University of Mysore,  and the Professor of B N Bahadur institute of management sciences, Manasagangotri, Mysore was the chief guest. Dr Premakumara G S, professor of Economics, Sir M V, PG centre, University of Mysore, Tubinakere, Mandya and Dr. B Venkatraja, Associate professor, department of Economics, Chairman SDMIMD RCMS were the resource persons for the session one and two respectively. Final year students from B.Com and BBA were the beneficiaries. 

In the keynote address Prof.D Anand, spoke about the Research and its importance. He stressed on constructive, quality and progressive thinking and holistic development, critical and clinical approaches. In Session one, Resource person spoke about Key content of the research and also gave an outline of an Article writing: Better understanding. In

Session two was about the style of citations, references, draw tables, figures and at the end Publication ethics. During the program, Smt Padma B S, Coordinator, Smt K S Sukrutha, IQAC Coordinator and the members of the Library Resource committee were present.

University of Mysore organized Inter- Collegiate Literary and cultural Competition-2024, Miss Keerthana and Miss Swapna of III B Com B have represented MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya Mysore and participated in Classical Dance and Elocution. Miss Keerthana has secured Second prize in classical dance and Miss Swapna secured first place in elocution in English on topic “The role of youngsters in Environmental Protection”. The college and the management heartily congratulates the achievers.

Uipath Academic Summit - 2024 (Inspire, Educate and Colloborate) 

On 15.2.2024 - Smt.K.S.Sukrutha , HoD of Computer Science and IQAC Coordinator and Smt.Ramya S K , Assistant Professor of Computer Science and ICT Committee Coordinator attended UIPATH ACADEMIC SUMMIT - 2024 (INSPIRE, EDUCATE and Collaborate) at Shangri La, Bengaluru.

The summitt commenced with welcome & opening address followed by release of UIPATH sample curriculum for academia, leadership insight- fireside conversations on evolving Automation landscape, UIPath apps pilot program with academia - leadership forum- crafting an automation ready campus, MOU exchange with first UIPath talent connection partners, power panel discussion- unlocking automation skills, an opportunity for India and launch of skillathon India 2024 with ICT Academy.

NSS Annual Camp

The National Service Scheme Unit of MMK and SDM MMV held a NSS Annual Special Camp Inauguration at Udhburu Village, Jayapura Hobli, Mysore, on February 12, 2024.

The NSS camp inauguration ceremony commenced with a sense of enthusiasm and anticipation. Volunteers, mentors, and distinguished guests gathered to witness the beginning of a transformative journey. The event began with an invocation, seeking blessings for the success of the camp and the endeavors of the volunteers.

The programme is inaugurated by president, Prof. Sainath Malligemadu, Principal, MMK & SDM MMV  and the Chief guest, Prof. N Bharathi, vice-principal, MMK & SDM MMV, and dignitaries on the dais,. In his presidential address, he underlined the value of NSS and the critical role it plays in promoting social transformation and civic duty. He also urged volunteers to adopt the volunteer spirit of community participation and emphasized the relevance of selfless service. Additionally, our primary guest discussed the importance of the camp and the contribution of each volunteer towards the community  in her address. Among the guests was Sri Lingaraju, the Government Head Master, Udhburu made a remarkable speech regarding patriotism, duties and responsibilities of  NSS volunteers.

Annual Academic Audit - 2023

08/02/2024 & 09/02/2024 – Annual Academic Audit of MMK and SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya was conducted by the committee comprising  members Prof S N Kakathkar, Vice Principal, SDM College, Ujire, Dr P Vishwanath, Dean, SDM PG Center, Ujire and  Dr Rathnavathi, Head of the Department of commerce, SDM College, Ujire audited the documents maintained in  all the departments of the college. Dr. Sateeshchandra S, Honourable secretary, SDME Society, Ujire addressed the teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college on this occasion. He also released the brochure of Two Days National Conference on Biochemistry – Emerging Science and Technology which is to be held on 14th and 15th March 2024.

During their visit, Prof Sainath Malligemadu, Principal and HoD’s of the respective departments presented the report of the activities and achievements of the academic year 2023-24.  A total of sixteen departments including Library, Sports and Administration departments were audited on the basis of NAAC criteria. They also interacted with Principal Prof Sainath Malligemadu, all HOD`s, non-teaching staff members, student representatives and teaching staff members of the college. In the exit meeting they also gave their valuable suggestions, reviews, observations recorded during their visits to the department.

ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಎಂ. ಎಂ. ಕೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಎಸ್. ಡಿ. ಎಂ. ಮಹಿಳಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ರೂಬಿಕಾನ್ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ಡೆವಲಪ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ರೈ. ಲಿ  ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಪದವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ, 08/02/2024 ರಂದು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ವಿಕಸನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್ ಸಾಯಿನಾಥ್ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆಮಾಡು ರವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ವಿಕಸನ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಿಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ವಿಕಸನ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳಾದ SWOT ಅನಾಲಿಸಿಸ್, ಇಮೇಲ್ ಬರವಣಿಗೆ, ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸ್ಪೀಕಿಂಗ್, ಬಾಡಿ ಲ್ಯಾಂಗ್ವೇಜ್, ಪ್ರೆಸೆಂಟೇಷನ್ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ಸ್, ಗ್ರೂಪ್ ಡಿಸ್ಕಶನ್, ಪರ್ಸನಲ್ ಇಂಟರ್ವ್ಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 258 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರೂಬಿಕಾನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ತರಬೇತುದಾರರಾದ, ಟಿ. ಎಸ್. ರಾಮನಾಥನ್, ಗಿರೀಶ್ ಭೂಷಣ್, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಭೋಜಮ್ಮ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಂಜನಾ ಬಿ, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಸಂಚಾಲಕಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕೆ. ಎಸ್. ಸುಕೃತ, ಪ್ಲೇಸ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹದೇವಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಎಸ್, ಪ್ಲೇಸ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳಾದ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಾಜರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಎಂ. ಆರ್., ಡಾ. ಸುಧಾಮಣಿ, ಡಾ. ಎನ್ ದಿಲೀಪ್, ಕಾವ್ಯಶ್ರೀ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

Alumni Association Office Bearers Meeting 


On February 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., the Alumni Association had its office bearers meeting in the boardroom. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the agenda that are essential to the growth and involvement of the alumni of the association.

The agenda includes tactics to increase finance and membership in order to garner long-term support. Plans were also formulated to host a distinguished endowment talk, which would provide the alumni community with insightful information. Committee members also talked about holding a seminar to give alumni practical experience in entrepreneurship.

The annual alumni event was being planned, with an emphasis on building community spirit and forging connections. Plans for the next celebrations were discussed, with an emphasis on alumni participation in these important occasions. The Annual Report, which highlighted the association's accomplishments, was reviewed and presented during the meeting.

The meeting featured presentation by Prof. Sainath Malligemadu, the head, along with Smt. Sukrutha fulfilling the role of treasurer, and Smt. Maheshwari Shwetha, the president of the alumni association. The combined knowledge and perspectives of these individuals are expected to have a significant impact on shaping the future initiatives of the Alumni Association.


Interactive session on "Power of Positvity" 

On 7th February, 2024, MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Mysore, Student Welfare Committee organized an interactive session on “Power of Positivity”. Brahmakumari Manjula, Center-in-charge, Brahmakumaris  Saraswathipuram Center, Mysore was invited as the resource person,  The interactive session at the college was a transformative experience, with the resource person skillfully guiding students towards positivity. Through thought-provoking questions and inclusive activities, students were encouraged to reflect on themselves. The "Light" concept, breaking down into elements like letting go and giving respect, resonated well. The session concluded with a serene two-minute meditation, leaving a lasting impact.

Prof. Sainath Malligemadu principal MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Mysore, in his presidential speech, emphasis on visiting the Brahmakumari Saraswathipuram center in Mysore showcased a commitment to holistic development. His message about training the mind underscored the profound influence of positivity, with a comparison to the powerful nature of the human mind over a supercomputer. The combination of practical guidance and philosophical insight contributed to a well-rounded and enriching session.  All first years are the benefits of this session.  In this session Smt. K.S Sukrutha, IQAC Coordinator, Smt. Jyothilakshmi G Kava, Student Welfare Officer, Student Welfare Committee members, made this programme a grand success.
