Artist Inspired (presentations?)

I do not have a picture nor could I find it (plus my presentations disappeared), but what I did was make a silhouette drawing with a colored background. It was inspired off of an artist who makes silhouettes as a living. The assignment was to get inspired off of an artist and create artwork with with what that artist does. The subject is Groot and Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy. The setting is supposed to be space, like in the movie. I used my ink pens and special colored pencils to draw this. I wanted to draw this picture because I wanted a challenge. The shape was hard to do but I like how it came out. My project got better when I added color. The story is when Groot sacrifices himself to save his friends, and Rocket (the one on the ground) is reaching to him as his misses his friend. I love drawing them so I wanted to show what I love. This relates to my life because I love Guardians of the Galaxy! I struggled with making the shape of the silhouette to at least make it look like Groot and Rocket.
