Stars and Stripes

The subject of both of my creations is for #1 an Eagle and for #2 a man holding fire. There is no setting to this, I wanted it to be simple. The work was made with sharpie. I choose to create these specific works because I like making something complex. I really like using sharpie because it's bold and helps push out solid colors.

I was originally going to just draw the word "pride" with an american flag in it and the dot over the "i" as a star. I eventually changed to this idea, and I love how it came out. There is no story to this at all, however you can imagine whatever you'd like to. :)
