Whatchamadrawit

The subject of my work is a skateboard shaped like a rocket. The work was made with pencil, fine-point pen and marker. I chose to create this because I really enjoy drawing anthropomorphic animals. When I saw the word skateboard, I immediately thought of the Cheetah from the Cheeto's commercials. I used shape, color, form, and space in the piece.

I was originally going to have a man riding a mini rocket, but I wanted to draw an animal of course. I'm not really proud about how the colors came out... I don't like the markers at all. The markers used for the clouds were fine, but everything else just makes it look very unprofessional.

There is really no meaning behind this piece. Though people think about art in many different ways. So, if anyone thinks this is a completely different meaning to it, go on ahead.
