COVID-19 #1

For this piece, we had to create something in regards to COVID-19. I chose to draw a dog working as a doctor giving advice to stay home during this pandemic. The piece was made digitally on FireAlpaca using my Surface Pro. I tried to add more detail to this piece compared to some of my other ones (for example: adding fur texture, shading and highlights, clean ups, etc). I chose to draw a dog because my dog is one of the things that I can still connect to regardless of the stay-at-home rule. I drew him as a doctor to show that they are important during this time. He is giving thumbs up to show that everything will be okay and that he's trying really hard. The colors were chosen to be reds and blues because I wanted to try to shade and highlight with two primary colors. Overall, I really like this piece. It came out better than I thought it would. If I had to change something, it would probably be to soften up the lineart a bit to match more with the fur and lighter colors.
