Duck Stamp Maine Development Disorders

There are a few assignments that I enjoy the most. I love the duck stamp and my stars and stripes project(s). The duck stamp project just shows how far I've come and the improvement I have gotten throughout the first half of the year. My second favorite is the stars and stripes projects. I had made two. I love drawing with sharpies, it makes things so bold. It's one of my favorite things to draw with.

One of the projects that I had struggled with the most was the Find Your Voice project. I really do not like how it came out. It's really bad to me. I wanted to follow a color palette, with red and blue. But the more I tried to make it look better, the more I made it look worse and worse. I did not like the material I tried to use and I have never used the same material since.

Some things I have learned is how to blend well and follow a palette. I've struggled with staying with palettes and in a few of my art pieces, I have tried to stick to using the colors that I wanted to stick with in the first place.

I improved a lot over the past months, not only in my style but my blending as well. I used to blend very dark colors and it would ruin it, but now, I blend what looks nice to my eye. I do what I love. My style has changed from looking straight focusing more on anatomy.

My work illustrates my growth as an artist because I started off making super stiff and straight drawings. My work has gotten to become more realistic and focus more on anatomy. My style has gotten from cartoony to realistic-cartoony, and a style I really enjoy.

I want to continue to improve on being creative with my style. I feel as if I'm becoming too comfortable with my style, and if I do that, I won't improve. I want to try different things and feel okay with my style.
