For this assignment, we had to create drawings of a stool and a cord, but we could only draw the negative space around the objects to create them. I used pencil to draw the negative space, and I filled in the space around the stool drawing with warm colored water color paint. I used line, shape, color and space to create emphasis and contrast. To revise, I went back afterwards and tried to make the water color more even and opaque. I am proud of how my stool drawing has colors that really go together, I think they look really nice and make the stool pop. I struggled a little bit with making the shapes exact because in order to look like the object in the end, the negative space shapes needed to be almost perfect. If I could go back and revise, I would straighten the lines I initially made because looking at it now, the leg that's surrounded by orange paint look uneven.
