For this assignment, we had to create three presentations about two famous artists and one art movement. For my first presentation, I talked about the importance and some of the famous work of Jan Vermeer, a baroque artist. My second presentation was about another artist, Claes Oldenburg. I wrote about how he is a pop-art sculptor and how he creates giant sculptures around the country. My last presentation was about the art movement of surrealism, a movement where artists create pieces that are inspired by things you might see in dreams, but has elements of realism.
