Watercolor and pen on bristol paper
For this assignment, we were asked to create a second work that shows our experience with the pandemic. Although I don't live in an apartment building, I feel like my friends are so close but so far away.
To create this piece, I started by sketching out an apartment building that I took a picture of in Madrid, Spain. Then, I painted it with watercolors paints and outlined certain things with a thin black pen.
I am pretty happy with this piece. I like the style of the art, but if I were to go back and change anything about it, I would maybe show the people on the balcony to make it more realistic.
