Build A Ziggurat
Now it is your turn, try to build a ziggurat or an ancient Mesopotamian city-state. HAVE FUN, BE CREATIVE and build something.
Your ziggurat scene requires
1. A Ziggurat (check out page 134 or search some pics)
2. Include TWO ITEMS that represent something you learned about life in Mesopotamia
3. BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR WORK - (look for SAVE AS)
4. Use Command + Shift +4 to snag a picture, it goes on your desktop, you will turn this in to Google Classroom.

You Are The Script Writer
(as we covered yesterday in class)
1. Watch movie entirely thru one time
2.You work with one script writing partner to create a script to include the following:
a. Narrator script necessary to tell the story
b. Character scripts (some need voices)
Your script needs to creative yet factual (containing facts) about mesopotamia. This might require some research for what you see on the screen.
Everyone needs their own written copy of the script.

Friday Research Project

Spend time exploring.
You will then pick one topic and create a SINGLE SLIDE PRESENTATION using OpenOffice.org (check Applications folder)
Choose File-New and select "presentation" - the Save As with your name and pay attention to where you are saving the slide.
Your SLIDE needs to include the following:
1. Your Name
2. Topic Name
3. Picture/ClipArt of Topic
4. Include THREE key facts about the topic
(Think of the W's - who, what, where, when, why important)
5. Assume you are presenting this to a five year old and they have to understand the topic you chose
Everyone needs their own slide.
Your topic must be different from the people sitting next to you!!!
