Use your LaunchPad to find the Motion FX app and drag it to your dock. Spend some time investigating the various setting and effect possible - they are pretty amazing.
Once you have some time to get acquainted with the App, now test out the following features:
(both pictures and video are saved in the Movie folder on your computer, in a new folder called Motion FX.. there is also a button called "Reveal Movies" to help find them)
1. Take a Snap Shot
2. Take A Movie (keep it short < 30 seconds)
Putting it all together in iMovie
Using Green Screen
The best order to use for a successful project is this:
1. Look around for some image background and have an IDEA
2. Download the background and import to iMovie
3. Create your "Green Screen" movie in Motion FX
4. Import your Motion FX movie to iMovie
Remember in your project the BackGround goes FIRST,
the GREEN ON TOP
It is possible to use video and your "background" rather than a picture, these are often called "looping background" and can be found online..

Sound Effect & Background
Every good movie clip needs some sound effect or mood music.
Within iMovie there are sound effects and ambience or background music.
