Lego Video Creation

To wrap up your Lego Creation unit, you will be making separate videos of ALL your Lego creations using QuickTime screen recordings, then importing the video into WeVideo to add cool music, titles and credits. (see sample video below).

Lego Projects to Screen Record using Quicktime

QuickTime Screen Recordings:

4. Now You Will See this.. DRAG TO SELECT A REGION to Record, Start Recording

5. Now move your Lego Object around while recording to get a good view, zoom in an out etc... If you are doing the exploded mode, keep recording till your Lego is put back together

6. To stop recording, look for a little black dot in the upper right corner..click to stop record

7. Be sure to SAVE ALL YOUR RECORDINGS in a FOLDER on YOUR DESKTOP, GIVE THEM GOOD NAMES as you will need to IMPORT them into WEVIDEO next.

WeVideo Editing

Next you will start FIVE SEPARATE movie projects in WeVideo and import the videos above for each project. Each Lego Movie short will need to have the following:

1.Title Slide introducing the movie

2. The explosion and rebuild of the Lego creation

3. The manual manipulation of the Lego creation

4. Final credits or thanks for watching Title slide

5. Cool background music through out.

6. Explosion sound effect. See my sound-effects website for free sound effects
