In this section, you will learn to use a precision measuring tool "Dial Caliper" and practice measuring objects to a thousandth of an inch. Then you will begin to learn the basics of sketching in your Engineering Notebook and providing the "dimensions" or measurements from measuring toy wood blocks with your caliper.

Your Engineering Notebook should have four sketches, one sketch for each type of measurement listed below. As always be sure to use the gridlines, intersection points and a RULER when creating your sketches!!!
You will completely measure the following four Toy Items & sketch them in your notebook, show the measurements
