Here is a site to check out... remember to not AGREE to pay
for anything.. we are only using this to create ArtWork /Screen shots -
then we can snag them and use for our project. You might need an email
for some but DO NOT PROVIDE ANY MORE INFORMATION
4. Commercial/Video
Have a look at the commercials from finalists in 2011 to get some idea of what has been done in the past - we of course are looking to do better. The commercial must be less than 60 seconds - which is still a lot of work.
We discussed the many options you have to create a commercial, your cool Appp Screen Shots in iMovie, Actual filmed video (FlipCameras), Animation snippets (FlipBoom Doodle or PowToon), Voice Over, Green Screen, iMovie Themes and trailers etc... so be creative but be realistic... you don't have a lot of time and the commercial, though required is not a huge part of the contest judging.
Here is a MurphApp Demo using screen shots in iMovie created in about 10 minutes...
Here is the project in iMovie... click on image to enlarge;
Created with the following:
1. App screen shots (use the Crop/Fit feature in iMovie)
2. PPT slides saved as JPEGs (fit nicely)
3. Background Jingles from iMovie
4. Voice Over by Clicking Microphone
5. "Titles" in iMovie to add text as necessary
Tip: When starting project do not use Widescreen use 4:3
Commercials 2011

Story Board
Create a "storyboard" in a Google Presentation doc that will map out your ideas for your commercial. As a guideline assume 4 scenes of about 15 seconds each. Remember you can mix video, animation, still photos, screen shots of you app, voice overs, cool music mix in the background etc... anything to make your ideas come alive.

Posting your Commercial YouTube URL
You need to supply a working YouTube URL for your commercial. If you don't have a way of posting your commercial to YouTube and supplying a URL you can give me your commercial and I will post to this temporary YouTube channel, MurphTube - then you can get the URL from here and include in your submission.
