Pay attention to what you are turning in for each projects in Google Classroom (see below)
1. Game Design: You will publish your Scratch Project and turn in the LINK Google Classroom
2. Add-on: Flicker: You will publish your Scratch Project and turn in the LINK Google Classroom
3. Add-on: Bitmap - you will "Save As" an image file and attach a Bitmap to Google Classroom
4. Add-on Vector: you will design in Vector mode, convert to Bitpmap, then "Save As" an image file and attach a Bitmap to Google Classroom
5. Add-on Sound: You will publish your Scratch Project and turn in the LINK Google Classroom
For this first Scratch animation - follow the instruction and steps in the video, withe exception of adding two additional features:

For this project, you do not need to connect it to your story about, you can create a new character and just follow the video instructions to crate the continuous visual "Flicker" effect.
YOU NEED TO USE THE STARTER PROJECT - it has a bunch of transitions built in that you can swap back and forth with your code blocks.

Flicker Tip
You will need some code command/block
that addresses "layers" - meaning what sprite goes on top
For this activity you need to create a custom BITMAP character . Be sure fill your character with colors.
(you cannot create a cat)

You will Alt-Click, Right-Click, or Control-Click and use "Save Image As" to put the image file on your computer (downloads folder).
Turn this image file into Google Classroom
For this project you will learn to work with Vector (shape images).
You will be turning in TWO image files.
1. Create and entirely new Vector character by combining parts from other Vector characters - so basically a new "Frankenstein Vector"
2. Now Draw a custom Vector using shapes.
For both Vector files you will need to use "Convert to Bitmap"
Choose Convert To Bitmap when you are done
You will Alt-Click, Right-Click, or Control-Click and use "Save Image As" to put the image file on your computer (downloads folder).
Turn this image file into Google Classroom
For this project you can follow along the video instructions.
Your final Animation will need to include
1. Character
2. Backdrop/Background
3. Continuous background music
4. Two different sound effects
Publish the project and turn Link into Google Classroom
