If a document is due for revision then you should have a task for it in your inbox:
Click on the link in the task:
Upload the revised file.
Fill in the date of the document
Note: The date on the document should reflect the completion of the requirement (e.g., servicing date, training date, etc.), not the revision date or the date of upload (today).
Click 'Store document revision' / 'Save'
Sometimes you might want to update a site document and there isn't a task for it, here's how:
Navigate to the Documents tab in Manage Mode of the site where the document is stored. If you are already there, skip to Step 3.
From the inbox of the site where the document is stored, go to the 'Documents' tab.
Click on 'Manage Documents'
Find the document you wish to revise (either by the search bar or via the directory) and click 'Show / Revise'
(If the document doesn't exist, follow the steps linked here to add a new site document)
Click 'Revise (upload file)'
Upload the revised file.

Sometimes you might want to update an asset document and there isn't a task for it, here's how:
Navigate to the Assets tab in Manage Mode. If you are already there, skip to Step 3.
From the inbox of the site, go to the 'Assets' tab.
Click on 'Manage assets'
Select the asset you wish to revise from the asset list (use the search filters to help you)
Scroll down and select the document requirement from the list
Click 'Revise (upload file)'
Upload the revised file.
Click 'Store document revision' / 'Save'
