Here at Opus, we use Google Meet for video calls and screen sharing. It’s a simple program that works on any browser, and you don’t need a Google account to join.
If you don't have a speaker / microphone head to the bottom of this page to see how to join the meeting by telephone.
If you’ve been invited by email, you’ll find a link in the invitation that looks like this. It should also appear in your calendar event—click on the "Join" button or the link.
You will then see this screen in your internet browser. Click on ‘Allow microphone and camera’:
You may see a pop-up similar to this, asking you to confirm. Click 'Allow'.
Enter your name in the prompt here:
You will then join the meeting (you may need to wait for permission to enter).
What if I don’t have a microphone or speaker?
You can still join the meeting. After joining, click on the "Meeting information" button in the bottom-right corner.
You’ll see a telephone number and PIN to join the call via telephone.
Please remain in the meeting on your computer so you can view our screen if we need to share it.
