Context: Students study the mitzvah of giving tzedaka.
Learning: In this engaging activity, students were immersed in the exploration of tzedaka dilemmas participated in lively debates. Through the examination of tzedaka dilemmas, students were exposed to the practical application of Torah teachings in their everyday lives. By grappling with these scenarios, they gained insight into how Jewish values and principles can inform their decisions and actions when it comes to tzedaka. They explored the many considerations that come into play when deciding how to allocate resources to those in need. Students also engaged in critical analysis by exploring relevant texts and sources related to tzedaka and chesed. By examining these sources, they were able to approach tzedaka dilemmas with greater wisdom and insight.
