Coding to the Beit Hamikdash

Grade/Class: Grade 1 JS

Context: Students learn about chagim during the year.

Learning: For Chag HaShavuot, grade 1 learned about the journey that Bnei Yisrael would take to Beit HaMikadash for the holiday during the time of Beit HaMikdash. So, to get in the spirit of the Chag, the class got to create their journey to the Beit HaMikdash. Using Indi Racers, the grade 1A students were split into four groups and used cards they were given to make a trail to the temple. After each group made their path, the cars raced to see who could get to the Beit HaMikdash first! All the students got involved and were so excited to play the game!
