6 ENDURANCE
ALLISON OAK SOE
I chose this LwT to present as this assignment was the most memorable. All my friends had different answers and we all had to think out of the box. This lesson shows how different people have different understandings of the same topic and just shows how Math is like another language not just for learning but also for problem solving among students.
CALEB YEO YI XI
I chose this LWT about origami and angles as I find that this one was the most interesting as it was much more interactive than other LWTs as we had to fold paper and measure angles in order to fulfil the requirements of the task.
CHENG KAI SEN
I chose this LwT (Task 1). It is about money spending and how to be more conscious when spending money as most primary school kids like me tend to overspend. It makes me think of creative ways how to stretch the dollar. It teaches me to use my money wisely.
CHENG XIN YUE
I chose this LwT assignment as I find it interesting. More importantly, this assignment is about Circles a new topic that we learnt recently! By doing this assignment, it helped me to understand the topic on circles better. At first this may seemed a little though however, I managed to figure out a way to solve it. ( There are in fact many ways to solve it ! )
John von Neumann: "If people do not believe that mathematics is simple, it is only because they do not realize how complicated life is."
CHEW KYAL SIN MEGAN
I chose this LWT assignment because I had some trouble figuring it out the pattern. In the end, after I got my answer, I was still not sure about it but this experience allowed me learn that if one solution does not work, I should always try something else and among the other Math LWT assignments, I enjoyed doing this one the most.
DONG XINYAN
I chose this LwT video because it was one of the LwT that I really enjoyed doing. I enjoyed the process of making the pyramid and the editing of the video. It also made me learn that when you really enjoy doing something, you will do it to the best of your ability.
DUAN BOYU
This assignment has taught me about compound interest in the first part and how to plan stuff properly in the second part. I enjoyed punching the numbers in the calculator and finding throught the various shopping platforms to look for the best deals to reduce the price.
FANG ZHE LUCAS
This assignment has taught me 2 valuable lessons. 1)it is how to solve similar questions like this in the future and 2) is to always listen in class as because I did not listen very closely in class, I got this question wrong so this piece of work will act as a constant reminder to me to be attentive in class
JAKKULA RUPESH RAJ
I choose this as it is interesting. I was flabbergasted to find out that all the blue shaded part in each square is the same.
JOVANA HUANG
I chose the LWT I did on area of circles. This LWT allowed me to have a more vast knowledge about the area of circles. This LWT took me a long time to figure out how to solve it , however , in the end, I used assumption and assumed the diameter of each circle and the answer all were the same , hence , I was able to find out the answer .
KUNNAKKAT ARCHANA SURESH
Looks familiar, doesn't it? Yes, I agree to the fact that this is the latest item Mr Chua has given us. Moreover, it had been given to us during the post-PSLE period but there is still something to learn in this! First of all, I found it difficult to take these pieces apart. Then, when it was finally taken apart and I had to put it back, I couldn't. Why? I had failed to observe how it was put. Thus, I think it is important that I observe first before "demolishing" it, be it in daily life or items
LIEW QI YUE
This is one of the LwT tasks that I did through out the entire year and among the 4 that I did I liked this one the most and I probably also spent the most time on it. This LwT was especially hard because there was a extremely long equation that I had to write down and calculate. However I still enjoy these LwT assignments a lot. :>
LIEW YIN JIA, JUDSON
LwT Task Origami and Angles
LIU JIEYING
I chose this LWT because I found this assignment quite fascinating and challenging. I had to spend a day to complete this assignment as I needed to spend a lot of time to go online and search for the cheapest product and calculating all the items. I also learnt how to spend my money wisely.
LO YONG JIA
I chose my origami and angles as not only did I have fun in the process of making the origami and finding angles, but it was also educational and allowed me to have a better understanding of angles. The research for the 3-D triangular-based pyramid interested me the most as I could learn more about structural buildings and their reasoning behind it.
LOGAN CHUA LI SHERN
LwT Task Origami and Angles
QAISARA NUR AFIQAH
This is my Math LwT-- The Pocket Money/Smart Shopper. This Math LwT is one of my best and I have learned many useful skills when doing this. I discovered some things when doing the first and second questions. I also discovered how this will eventually help me when I am older( e.g how to save money when buying groceries )
SANJEY SAE BALAKUMAREN
LwT Task Area of Circles
SARATHY ADHINAV
SPEED
I chose this piece of Maths LwT because I personally felt that I was able to communicate Mathematics to others through this task. The task was to find out the speed of a train. LwT has incorporated Math in unique tasks so I am able to enjoy Maths better. The explanation that I wrote has also helped me to communicate with others clearly and to reinforce certain mathematical topics.
SOH ZI CONG
This is Lwt task 4, the train that us crossing the bridge, I used this as my CoL as I am aboe to understand most of the question, sadly, I only got 3 marks of the 4 marks as I forgot to add 100 to the start and end
SOON EN HUI FELICIA
This is my Lwt in term 2. I chose this Lwt task as I enjoyed folding the pyramid.
TAN JIA YU
This is my working for LWT (learning with technology) which allows use to learn and explore new techniques to solve problems as well as to think out of the box. The train problem is very tricky and many people did not get the correct answer but with the models and graphs, I was able to find the right answer.
TAN YI KAI
LwT Task Origami and Angles
TAN YU WEN
LwT Task Origami and Angles
WAN KEXUAN
This is my Term 2 Math LwT which was on angles. We learnt about the properties of Equaliteral Triangles.I had much fun folding the origami and following the instructions to do the activity.
YEE JING HAN
This is my LWT for math, which I found quite enjoyable and difficult at the same time. I had to do my own calculation (Luckily, my dad taught me how to use Excel). I feel comfortable sharing this LWT task. It also taught me how to reduce my money spending, as shown in the task above.
YOO WAN NI
I chose this page of family maths as it shows some of my daily routines which can somehow relate back to math's pie chart.
ZHAO HAOCHENG
I chose this piece of math LWT beacuse this piece of Math LWT has different parts to it. Some parts of this math LWT requires thinking and math calculations. One of the part required to search a few shops to decide on the best choice. I think this math LWT will help me the most later in life as shopping is necessary later in life.
ZHOU QINGMIN
I had spent a lot of time on this LWT, as I had to think of ways on how to present the folded parts clearly, and usually, I don't spend my time doing origami so I had learnt how to fold a pyramid
ZONG XIYU
I chose this Maths LWT as it requires me to think further into small details that actually matter when solving the question. Task 4 of this LWT also helps me to know how to spend the money on the things required, but at the same time, not exceeding the budget.
