ALLISON OAK SOE

BOSCO WAN BOK JYUN

Thanks, Mama
When I was younger, the first thing I saw when exiting from the hospital in my mother's warm arms, I saw this tree. It brings me joy when I get to see the plants, resulting in my favourite colour to be green. It represents birth and joy of a mother's love.  I am very grateful to be born into this wondrous world and I have to thank my parents.

CALEB YEO YI XI

This is a picture of a bread, which is one of my favourite food. I chose this as I really like how the lines look weird but familiar at the same time. This bread looks like a human as I feel like I have a connection with it like an actual human.

CHEW KYAL SIN MEGAN

This was the fist piece I had to draw in Art when we started learning about shading technique and I think that this was one the topics I enjoyed learning because whenever I draw, I would not shade so this was a useful lesson for me.

Before Graduation (2022)
Gouache on Paper
My piece is about graduating. The blue dress hung on the cupboard is the graduation gown.  The hat and the scroll is the graduation certificate. Graduating would be very memorable to me as I would only graduate 5 times in my whole life.

KUNNAKKAT ARCHANA SURESH

Looks abstract, doesn't it? Well, it is! Although I do not have the work with me right now, I had fun experimenting with abstract art in class! By the way, the pic above is not mine. I am definitely not that good in art! If I am not wrong, I think the topic had something to do with logo. At first, I was lost for what I was supposed to do. But, as I started experimenting, the work I had made was called Abstract Art by my art teacher. So, abstract art, it is!

Imagine Glass
Watercolour on Paper
This used to be my old hourglass from when I was 2 years old. My old hourglasses are all broken now. I only changed the colour of the sand, added a background and removed the frame. When I was younger, my father found out that I like to play with sand. So, without letting me touch the sand itself, my father bought me an hourglass to play with. But I ended up breaking most of them.

This is one of my ideas for the sculpture of the 20th Anniversary. It is also the final one that I'm choosing. I think that it is the best out of all three and I want to present this for CoL.

ZOU YICHENG

Although this looks ugly and deformed, I still chose this as i feel that i spent a lot of hardwork trying to make the cube and the cone to paste them together.
