I have learnt about seed dispersal in science and I find this topic the most memorable for me in science. The picture was the notes I had taken from my science journal.

I found this activity memorable as I spent time researching on google how and what is condensation. I found out new things about condensation that were not covered in the Science curriculum which helped me learn new things. I also illustrated some parts to show my thinking and to help me remember the facts about Condensation better.

I chose a piece of group work my group and I did about the heart beat and breathing rate. We were meant to do 3 things, 15 jumping jacks, walk for 3 minutes and rest, then we would record our heart and breathing rate.

In this LwT task I got to experiment with many different materials to see which material is most elastic. I did not only learn about elastic materials, I also learned how a catapult work.

This is our Science Investigation Project about the power of salt water. We predicted that the salt water would let the light bulb light up. In the end, after conducting the experiment 2 - 3 times, we concluded that salt water could not let a light bulb light up. I think that the reason being the battery used is of a lower voltage, and the water of salt in the water is too low.

I found this interesting as in this topic, I got to learn how circuits work. I also learnt how the electric current flows through the circuit to make the bulb light up.

I learnt which milk brand turns bad faster and i also did extra research on how bacteria forms even in cold degrees and even in UHT milk.

I chose this photo as it was the notes I took during a science lesson. During that lesson, I learn about genetically modified food and researched about them.

That experiment about plasma was my best one yet! Plus, I researched online for the experiment. While doing the experiment, my microwave oven actually broke, so I do really recommend to get 2 microwave ovens for the experiment.

This is my science journal. It is very important every time we are starting a new science topic. I use it to take notes. When I’m bored, I would even give it a little colour and special designs. At the end of the year, I would revise my science journal.

I chose this piece of work as it is important to me. This piece of work had taught me many knowledge like, the medium airplane would fly the furthest as it is lighter than the biggest one. It also has a larger wing-span than the small one. From this, I also learn to have teamwork and I get to interact with my friends and know them better. I also improved on my folding skills on folding airplanes.

I chose a picture of my notes on the ‘Reproduction in Plants’ as I enjoyed learning about plants very much. My classmates and I had to remember a lot of facts about the plant reproduction system, the four stages a flowering-plant goes through to develop into a fruit, and the different functions of the parts in a plant.

I learnt which brand of milk turns bad faster and how they turn bad, because inside the milk there is natural bacteria, so after some time the milk will turn bad.

The most interesting thing about the Science Investigative Project is when I was telling people about the project. It was very fun and interesting. I learned how to make the talk interesting.

I found this picture memorable because I can see the water cycle happening at different places and I found it very interesting. Water cycle is a hard topic but I found that using this method made it easier to explain the water cycle.

I think the topic ‘electric circuit’ is interesting as I get to learn how bulbs light up and which way it would light up brighter.

Our aim is to find out which liquid slows down the apple from turning brown. The difficulty we faced was that the apples kept floating on top of the water which makes the results less accurate. I learnt that salt water increase the time before apple turns brown

I find this topic, dispersal of seeds, fun and interesting. Different types of plants have different kinds of seeds that disperse differently. In the picture are different types of plants that are dispersed by water, splitting, animal and wind. Plant circle's seeds are near the river, so we can assume that they have a fibrous husk and are dispersed by water. Plant triangle's seeds are near the adult plant, so we can assume that they are dispersed by splitting. Plant square's seeds remain only on one side of the river, so we can assume that the seeds are dispersed by animals. Plant star's seeds are found in the direction of the wind, so the seeds are dispersed by wind.

I learnt that the darker colour gain more heat than the lighter colour through doing my own experiment.

I learnt about why different brands of milk turn bad at different rates through the experiment. I enjoyed the experience more than finding the results because when we faced trouble and difficulties, we found ways to overcome them.

I would like to share about the circulatory system because if we do not have it, we would not survive. I like this work because it shows what are the parts of the circulatory system.

I learnt alot about the battery and seen it from another perspective I never seen before. I saw a cut-out of the battery and found out it has multiple layers. I also learnt that the elections would stay on the outer surface of the battery after going through the circuit. I learnt about how a circuit works and the function of each part of the circuit.

This is the best experiment I did so far. I learnt that gravity pulls the object until it hits the ground.

I enjoyed conducting the experiments with my friends during the Science Investigative Project. I enjoy learning Science as there are many hands-on activities. Science is interesting as there are many different ways of answering questions.

I have chosen the investigation science project for the science COL as it is one of the most memorable things that I have done this year! This project allowed me to experience different types of science materials and learn new things about my own scientific questions. In addition, the project also allowed me to practice teamwork as the project is done in teams. Therefore, I have chosen the science investigation project for the science COL.

For the Science Investigative Project, my group did the paper aeroplane experiment. Our question is "is the biggest always the best?". It turned out to be the middle size plane which went the furthest. The biggest one was second. It was enjoyable and I had so much fun presenting to the P2s and P3s. I hope they learnt something from us.

The most memorable thing I have learnt in science is the science carnival. I got to interact with the juniors and all. I hope to see my other juniors at the science carnival next year.

I find this picture interesting as there are a lot of particles in just 12 grams of carbon. I also find this picture interesting as particles cannot move at a certain temperature.

I have found this memorable as genetic engineering is not in the science syllabus and I still learned it and genetic engineering was also very enjoyable to learn about.

I think my science journal is the most memorable thing for the entire year. It contains my whole learning journey throughout the year, all the different topics or concepts I have learnt. I enjoy learning science very much and look forward to every lessons. This journal means a lot to me as everything I learnt is all inside it, even from the very beginning of the year. I can just look back and see how much I progressed the whole year.

I learnt a lot of topic including electricity. I found electricity most interesting. We did experiments on electricity and we learnt through the experiments. I wrote down what I learnt in my Science journal.

This is the best work I have done as these notes helped me with my exams a lot and I learnt a lot from it. I also think that this topic is very interesting about how it changes state

The reason I chose to upload this Science investigation project is because my group and I spent some time doing the experiment and then the slides. Even though the end result was not what we had expected, we had a fun and educational lesson about electric circuits.

The Science investigative project is the most memorable thing I learnt in Science. It was also my first time my group's Science project got chosen for the Science carnival. Though it was very tiring to do the project, I was very happy with the results.

In this lesson, I learned seed dispersal.

Seed dispersal is the mechanism by which plant seeds are transported to new sites for germination and the establishment of new individuals. A few examples would be wind, water, etc. I found this topic very interesting as I never new plants have different ways to disperse it’s seeds. Some plant they have more than one way they disperse their seeds!

I found this price of work the most interesting as I had trouble understanding seed dispersal. After I wrote this down and read through it, I could understand seed dispersal a lot better.

This is the most interesting thing in Science was the Science Carnival as it was enjoyable and educational at the same time. We explained how our experiment worked so many times that we could already memorise it.

I picked three different topics in Science. They are air and respiratory systems, electrical systems, and circulatory system.

Air and respiratory system is interesting as I learnt that air in made up of different gasses. We take in air, but at the lungs, oxygen is being absorbed into the blood.

Electrical systems is interesting as there are different types of circuits and different arrangement of the circuit such as the parallel arrangement and series arrangement. There are also open and closed circuits. When the circuit is open, electricity cannot flow through the circuit so the bulb cannot light up. When the circuit is closed, electricity can flow through and the bulb can light up.

The circulatory system is interesting as we get to learn the flow of blood in our body with different amount of different gases. Example, the blood flowing from the lungs to the heart in rich in oxygen and poor in carbon dioxide while the blood flowing from the heart to the lungs in poor in oxygen and rich in carbon dioxide.

I think that these pictures of my science journal are memorable and interesting because I have learnt a lot from them, like learning the different types of circuits. Besides that, the science journal is where I write all my science notes throughout the whole year and the place where I usually revise for my science exams. Lastly, I hope that I can learn more from my science lessons in Primary 6.

I find this interesting as I get to learn different parts of the flower. In P3 and P4 I learn about part of the plant and their function. Now in P5 I get to learn about different parts of the flower and their function. One interesting part of the flower to me, is there is a female and male part of the flowers.

I chose this piece of work as during the science investigation project, I had learnt to be a active team member and contribute to the project. We had fun and educational experience. My team member and I had a fun time experimenting with the objects given. It has been a fruitful experience
