Our Musician's Statement
We sang the Chan Mali Chan song with madness because one of our friends threw our water bottles. The water bottles almost broke and some water spilled out. We changed the dynamics to fortissimo and the tempo was faster than walking.

Our Musician's Statement
We sang the Chan Mali Chan song with excitement and we imagined we were playing at the playground. We imagined that we were playing catch. We were running and trying to tag our friends. You can hear our excitement as if we were running because we made the tempo faster and the dynamics forte.
Our Class Performance
Our Musician's Statement
We sang the Chan Mali Chan song feeling sad when one of our teachers, Mr Afiq, left our school. He was very kind to us and took a photo with us. We had lots of fun during PE lessons and we remembered the time when we played on the trampoline. He also played many games like ‘The Floor is Lava’ and ‘Freeze Dance’. To show our sadness, we sang the song with a slow tempo and pianissimo (very soft) dynamics.
Class Practice
We were practising the inang rhythm using our body percussion
playing the kompang
We transferred the Inang rhythm from body percussion to kompangs
The chase scene from the movie, Spiderman
We created short music clips to accompany this scene. We used a web-based software called Chrome Music Lab. You can listen to our compositions by clicking on the links below. You can also try composing your very own piece to communicate how you want the movie-goers to feel!
