Creating the 1 m² box on the floor!
Let's check out how many people can fit into this 1 m² box!
I used my set square to check the angles of figures so that I can check whether it is right angle, obtuse angle or acute angle. I can also use these to measure other things so these are very useful math tools.
In my slides, I am showing fractions. I learnt that fractions can be added, subtracted or compared. I like math because it is fun and easy to understand, especially fractions. My proudest moment during math lesson is when presenting my work in front of the class. I hope next year will be as fun as this year!
In my picture, I am showing angles. I like Math because it is interesting. My happiest moment during Math is when I am learning angles using Geoboard. I can make different shapes on geoboard and find out their angles. It is fun!
In my picture, I am showing lengths. I like Math because I can use items such as geoboard and set squares to help me learn easily. My happiest moment during Math lesson is when I used my ruler to measure lines and I got my measurements correct. Before I learned length, I did not know that I can covert cm into m. Now I know it, do you know?
This is my journal. I learned a lot about fractions and it helped me in my exam. At first, I don't understand fraction. After my teacher taught me what fraction really is so now I have better understanding.
Learning with Binary puzzle during Math@lunch is the most interesting. It is something unlike the usual Math. I won prizes for solving this puzzle!
In my slides, I am showing what I learned and researched. I researched about model drawing to gain more knowledge and learned about counting to 1000. My favourite part in mathematics is model drawings because it is interesting and we used model drawing to compare numbers and solve word problems.
In my document, I am sharing the halves. My teacher Ms Chuah gave me examples of different halves for the LwT. I did not know that I can use curve lines to cut the rectangle into halves. I like this topic fraction because it is fun and interesting.
Using the worksheets, I have recorded my learning in the worksheet so that I can revise in the future. I learned from my mistakes and make sure I don't make the same mistakes in the future.
My most memorable time in math class is during fractions lesson and when me and my friends work in groups . I have learned so much during my math class.I love to do group works with my friend in class because we can do many fun activities and also learn a lot of things such as doing Geoboard and fractions using maniqulative given by our teacher.
In my picture, I am showing my area worksheet. I like Math because if people ask me what are areas and perimeters in future, I can answer them. The area is the space taken up by the figure and perimeter is the length of the outline of a figure.
In my picture I’m going to show you what I learned about Area. To find area, we need to count how much space inside an enclosed figure, one time we need to see how much journal books we need to fill a table, that's a non-standard unit.
In my slides I am presenting height. Last year I only learned centimetres and metres and I learned kilometres this year to measure how long our country is. Singapore is about 50 km from west to east and about 25 km from North to South.
In my slides I am going to show you about time. I like maths because there is a lot of topics to learn such as time. My happiest moment is when I was in maths lesson.we learned about how to draw time line and how to tell time.
My COL is about multiplication, division, fractions and time.My happiest moment during math lesson is when I learned about angles. I did not understand what is angles at first. After my math teacher told me that angles is the degree of turning from one line to the other,I had better understanding about angles.
In my journal I am showing fraction,at first I didn’t know how to add and subtract fraction with different denominators but now I know how to add and subtract fraction with different denominator.
