This photo shows the rubix cube illusion. Can you see it?
This topic is about Perpendicular and Parallel lines.
Listening to instructions about Perpendicular and Parallel Lines to draw them without seeing them.
These are some pages from my Math journals; Tracing real stationeries and measuring their length in decimals and making notes on different kinds of composite figures.
Making Symmetry Figures to challenge our friends.
This is my Tally Chart and Tables using data from our SLS Poll about our favourite food stall in the canteen.
Making Symmetry Figures to challenge our friends. We treid to make a very hard symmetical figure that our friends
This is my work from LwT. I learnt how to calculate the routes.
This is my work when I was learning fractions and the examples of fractions in real life.
cutting out figures by folding the paper and only cutting 1 side of the paper to decrease the amount of work needed to cut it out.
We are learning how to use push-out method using the matchsticks to calculate perimeter of this figure.
We are learning how to use push-out method using the matchsticks to calculate perimeter of this figure.
i cut a shape out and drawn on it as we are learning perpendicular and parrallel lines by folding it into half and cut it
LwT Task 2
I use angles to play billi and other games such as soccer, golf and basketball.
Drawing out real-life items to show Mixed Numbers in Fractions.
Making my own 30 second timer.
Listening to instructions about Perpendicular and Parallel Lines to draw them without seeing them.
Making symetric figures to challenge our friends.I learnt what is a line of symmetry and when we use them.
We are doing this becuse we are learning about Perpendicular and Parallel Lines.I learnt how to draw Perpendicular Parallel shapes.
We recorded some locations in the 8 directions around our classroom and our seats when learning about 8-point compass.
Creating our own Symmetrical Figures by folding many time and
We drew different number lines, starting from ones, then zooming into tenths, then hundreths, then thousandths.
Creating our own Symmetrical Figures by folding square papers into smaller parts and cutting out the shape.
I did different shapes using one line of symmetry and two lines of symmetry, I learned that symmetrical figure always have 2 parts that is similar
I made a rubik cube illusion by drawing it out after listening to Ms Mandy's instructions. This topic is about Perpendicular and Parallel lines.
This is when we did the symetrical figures out of paper and had to make a shape with at least one symetrical figure . i did diffrent shapes with one symetrical line in between i learned how symetrical figures with one symetrical line is like
This is when we draw 3D figures with square boxes to help us to learn about Parallel and Perpendicular lines.
We did a "Math spelling", and tried using estimation to quickly check our sums.
LwT 3 on Budgeting, deciding on the best deals. I have thought of 9 different ways of spending the given amount on the tidbits shown. In the end, I decided that Way 8 was the most worthwhile deal.
TAN JIA YING
Learning about drawing 3D figures on square grid with parallel and perpendicular line. We are forming different type of 3D figures.
We are learning to draw 3D figure on a square grid paper.
Learning about parallel perpendicular lines using grids for guidance
This work is about learning to draw 3D figure on a square grid figure.
Listening to instructions about Perpendicular and Parallel Lines to draw them without seeing them.
This work is about Area and Perimeter. I tried to find as many method as I can so that I can check my work. I also wrote notes so that I can understand better when I revise.
This is the work about mixed numbers in real life use.
This work is about bar graphs. We did a poll in SLS on our classmates' favourite stalls in the school canteen. Then, I translated the poll results into a table chart on my math journal.
This is my presentation on graphs. This topic helped me learn that table graph helps with adding and subtracting and bar graph helps us compare the different data better.
I have recorded a tutorial on how to solve the question in my LWT 5, about Decimals.
We made our own 30-sec timer using recycebles and broght it to class to test our hour glass. I learn that every second was precious from this activity.
This work is about showing fractions in real life objects.
This work is from LWT 4. We have to figure out a way to colour the map using the least number of colours, but seperating each territory clearly.
