5 ENDURANCE

I choose this piece of work as I felt very proud of this work and I feel that I did my best.By listening to the tips my teacher has gave us I revised while doing this .

My best piece of work for English is my improvement from mid year exams to end of year exams. I have chosen my booklet B as I tried my best revising and the exams were complicated for me especially the comprehension. I hope I can get higher marks for 2023.

I chose this work because I felt like I really improved in the use of grammar and more. This was the best piece I have done.

This is my best composition script. I chose this because it has some good vocabulary used in this composition. I used flashbacks in this composition and it makes my work much more interesting.

These are pictures of my best composition I have written so far.The composition is about a boy named James Charles whom is very mischievous and a bullies others. In the story,he pulls the fire alarm and got suspended for a week.In the end,he learns his lesson and apologies to his peers,Teachers and principal.

In my opinion, book talk is my best work I have ever done. I took a long time trying to set up the presentation about my book. It made me improve public speaking and gave me motivation to make presentations!

The reason why I chose this picture is because that I improve on my situational writing

I choose this piece of work as I think this is one of the best sw I have every done for this year.

I chose this piece of work as I think this was my best composition out of every one I did. I used some good forms of vocabulary and idioms I learnt in class in the story. My grammar was also rather impeccable and the context of my story could be seen clearly.

I pick the 6 books as i have been using them for booktalk and have not been able to show the other series.

This photo is the one that I scored the highest marks for sw/situational writing. The reason I uploaded this is because I can see that I improved as my first attempt. I scored 6 marks in total but now I can score 9 to 10 marks.

This work is in my EL jotter book which is about oral that can help us with PEEL and some suggestion that can help us in oral.

This is my best piece of work this year. Usually, I only get around 20 marks but I used the method Ms Charlotte taught us, the magic three. The magic three method helps to make my composition more fun to read.

I uploaded this piece of work as I thought that the reflection I wrote was about my improvement. This reflection taught me how to improve and have good self-discipline.

I chose this as my COL as I think that when we write our journal, it will help us by letting us think through and express our emotions on what we are dealing with.

This is the introduction of the book named ROALD DAHL The Magic Finger that I talked about during my book talk.I chose this work as my COL because this is one of the few works i did that i put in lots of effort to complete.

This is the best SW I have done so far and I think I did better than the rest as I got a higher mark and less mistakes.

I pick this as my COL because I actually spent a lot of effort in it and took a lot of reference to write it. Though it wasn’t the best, I’m still very proud of it.

My write up: I choose this for my COL because the notes there tells me what are preposition clauses and examples of them.

I chose this as my col as it tells me how to entertain audiences and how to write a text that entertains audience.

This year, what I felt I did the best was writing. To myself, I always noticed that I always got the writing marks better than my others. So I felt this is my best work.

This is my best achievement in composition as at first, I was really bad in writing and always failed the composition. But now I am improving and now I passed my composition.

This is my presentation script for my book and talk, it is very important to me especially if I forgot any lines, I sometimes have stage fright when it comes to presenting.

Term 2 LWT oracy was one of my best work this year but of course there is room for improvements. I learnt to plan a speech and say it in a formal way, as if I was speaking to the school’s principal. I not only get to practice my speaking skills but also my writing skills.
