6 ENDURANCE

I chose this Powerpoint to present as not only did I learn something new, I also find the the most memorable project I did. While doing this presentation, I learnt many skills such as teamwork, time management, communication and more.

I chose this as I thought I had a fruitful time doing this Vocabulary Challenge. I learnt new knowledge as I completed the slides with my classmate. It sure was an enjoyable experience.

This is the Vocabulary Challenge that my group (Caleb and Judson) and I have created. During the research, I have learnt many vocabulary words, phrases and idioms (Though most are not listed in the slides). This improved my vocabulary by leaps and bounds (vocab words in action)

I think that ALP was something that I was able to learn a lot from because my group and I got the chance to try to figure out a solution to social issues and It was great opportunity for group and I to learn new things as well which we might be able to use in the future. I'm glad that we got an opportunity like this.

I chose this Modified writing of the composition, A difficult Decision, as I spent a lot of effort on this piece of composition and I thought that it was the best example from my writings to showcase to you. It made me learn that in order to create a story, you must think of the plot/ the story mountain and what vocabulary you must use in order to show and not tell.

I chose this vocabulary done by my team and me as I learned many different idioms like you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, cleanliness is next to godliness so on and so forth. I also enjoyed discussing what idioms to put and what not to put inside the slides with my teamates.

This assignment, as shown above, was done by me and my teammates. I feel that this piece of work is really memorable as, after presenting, not only did I learn the words but also allowed my friends to learn some of these difficult words as well. I also enjoyed the process thoroughly.

This is a vocabulary challenge  did and I feel like this assignment is very memorable as it is interesting and fun to do. I am able to explore a wider range of vocabulary.

Well, this is my reflection book. This is the place where i pen down my thoughts and what had happened during the week. I truly feel more grateful towards my family now due to this! Why? It is a mere book to write, right? Well, this way, I realise that every week I am able to write down at least something. I think of it more of a gratitude journal! 

I chose this piece of modified writing as I feel that it is one of my best compositions and it can showcase my writing ability well. Writing this piece helped me to realize how important it is to expand on the topic.

ALP was one of the most enjoyable group projects this year. For our ALP project my team and I decided on making a game to relieve stress. We were originally planning on creating a set of different games but due to PSLE we could only finish one game. :>

This is a vocabulary challenge that I did with some of my classmates. By doing vocabulary challenge together with some classmates, not only will I learn more vocabulary and maybe use them in some of my compositions to improve and have a better score, but also to bond a better friendship with them.

For my prelims, i had studied really hard and worked with all my might.Certainly,my hardwork paid off as i had scored beyond my expectations.I tried writing with a different starting and I managed to pull it off.Comparing my Mid Year Composition and my prelims, I could see a great improvement

While working on this slide, YONG JIA and I learnt a lot of idioms that we could use in our compositions and our vocabulary also expanded during this group work. So, this is what YONG JIA and I did.

During class, we are able to work in pairs or groups to search for different phrases, idioms and more to increase our vocabulary. This helps us when writing compositions as our vocabulary is wider and we are able to use better words/phrases when writing. This is the slides, my group did.   

This is my ALP slides about emplathy, I used this work as my CoL as when I was working with my team on the slides, I learned many things by searching up on the project, I felt that this work is the best I have done 

This is my book sharing slides about a book called Animal Farm. I chose this book sharing slides as I really enjoy reading Animal Farm and I wanted to share it with more people.

This was a vocabulary challenge that I did with my friend.We had to go onto google to search for the phrasal verbs and the meanings.I enjoyed learning the phrasal verbs and it was fun making the presentation.

This is me and Leqi's presentation for Social Studies, unfortunately, she transferred to another school. Our presentation is about Ancient Rome, and how it's discovery (Look in the slides) has changed our modern lives.

I chose the slide for my ALP as I think I put in hard work in it and is proud of it.I think this ALP was useful which is to solve social issues. I think this is very important.

I really enjoyed writing this story as I had fun describing the fire and how it destroyed the narractor's home. I also had fun describing the narractor's emotion throughout the story.

These are some of the works that I am proud of. The 2nd LWT on Oracy and 2 Situational Writings (SW). I think that I have put in the effort and thus, would like to showcase them in the Celebration of Learning.

I choose these as my celebration of learning as it is done by my group and  i think it is a good piece of work to show everyone what we have done for this vocabulary challenge.
