DSA for ALL
ALL secondary schools are offering Direct School Admissions (DSA) and they can admit up to 20% of their Secondary 1 intake. DSA provides students with the opportunity to seek admission to a secondary school, based on interest and talents.
Hence, we want ADP students to be able to make better strategic choices to enter the secondary school of their choice - be it via academic merit or DSA. Hence, we have been deliberate and intentional in our approaches to ensure that DSA is accessible to each and every student as we look to ensure there is breadth and depth to our students’ development and exposure in their CCA and Leadership journey.

Students have an online portfolio in their Education & Career Guidance (ECG) Google Classroon. This is the platform in which students will document their secondary schools choices and the reasonings. The choice order is strategic, which is two stretch school, two ability school and two safe school. The reason for choice cannot be plucked from anywhere. It must be from an informed decision they have made according to their AL score, talents and interests so they will have clarity in their choices and be happy with their outcome. Students are encouraged to consult their parents and teachers.
2021 DSA Application
This year we had 106 of our P6 students applying for DSA to the schools of their choice, with a total number of 299 application in the different talent areas that they applied for.
