Fine Arts Education Day
- "A Bicentennial Celebration!"

Plan to join us! There are so many ways to participate. With a hybrid model, we realize many legislator visits and performances may be "virtual" this year due to the pandemic, plans for MAAE's Fine Arts Education Day on March 24, 2021 are proceeding. Social distancing guidelines suggest there will be few - if any - live performances inside the capitol building, although we have reserved the rotunda, south steps and the Carnahan Memorial Garden. we are willing to discuss safe ways of bringing your choirs to perform. We also encourage teachers to consider preparing a short video recording which might become a "command performance" during a scheduled virtual visit with a legislator.

The importance of YOUR students and their voices being heard by Missouri legislators cannot be overstated. You - and they make a difference! MAAE understands that each school, district, and region has their own guidelines for safe and appropriate activities for their teachers and students. We will be happy to discuss plans to meet your unique situation. Whatever plans we make will help underscore the importance of high quality fine arts education experiences for every child, in every school and every day.
