Course overview - Study Period 5 and 6
During the first half term - Learners will be preparing for and completing their Health and Social Care mock examination for unit RO32: Principles of Care in Health and Social Care Settings. Learners will be developing their understanding of key exam knowledge learnt during cohort 9. They will be developing this through applying it to exam style questions and relating this to specific case studies provided in an example style.
During the second half term - Learners will be introduced to the second NEA unit; RO35: Health Promotion Campaigns. Learners will be introduced to Topic Area One: Current public health issues and the impact on society where learners will explore current challenges to public health and the organisations that are in place to address these.

Half term one - Health and Social Care cohort 10 mock examination (1 hour 15 minute exam paper)
Half term two - RO33 Topic Area 1 practice assignment, using OCR mark scheme and set assignments
Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, reports, feedback in books, whole class feedback, Google Classroom.
