Course overview - Study Period 5 and 6
During the first half term, study period 5 learners will be undertaking their formal C10 Mock Exams. Learners will cover all units of work studied to prepare revision materials to aid the assessments. Learners are also in receipt of the full scheme of work, as a RAG document as well as the units of work covered in both papers of the AQA GCSE. During the second half of study period 5, learners will have the opportunity of enjoying a Theme Park Tycoon project, before analysing and closing the gap on both papers sat for their C10 Mock exams.
Study period 6 commences with the introduction of the final unit of work “Finance”. Learners will cover the topics of sources of finance, cash flow and cash flow forecasting, cash flow solutions, financial terms as well as calculating revenue, costs and profits. Enrichment learning sessions will finish the end of term for the learners to enjoy before the Summer holidays.

Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, reports, feedback in their exercise books and verbal feedback, 1:1 interaction, Google Classroom.
