Course overview - Study Period 1 and 2
During the first half term - Learners will be able to describe their school building, give opinions on subjects, teachers, uniform and rules. Compare primary and secondary schools and schools in Spain and England
During the second study period -Students will be able to describe where they live and compare buildings. They will use prepositions to say where things are in their house.. They will be able to name items in different rooms and describe them using adjectival agreements. They will be able to say what they do where in their house and how long they have lived there. Students will move on to describe how they celebrate special occasions including birthdays, Christmas, Easter, in addition to exploring the different customs and celebrations which are celebrated in the Hispanic world.

Written Assessment to be marked formally and written feedback provided
A reading & listening assessment
Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, including feedback in books, 1:1 interaction, vocabulary tests, self & peer assessments of including class tasks
