Course overview - Study Period 3 and 4
During the first half term - Learners will be making any final changes to their first non-examined assessment (worth 30%). Learners will then be returning to the examination unit (RO32) with a focus on topic area 1.3: The benefits to service users’ health and wellbeing when their rights are maintained. Learners will be gaining an understanding of the importance of empowerment and the impact this can have on a service user.
During the second half term - Learners will continue to develop their understanding of content to support the examination unit (RO32) now with a focus on topic area 2.2: Benefits of applying the person-centred values. Learners will be improving their understanding of each of the person-centred values and how this ensures the standardisation of care is being given. Learners will then be able to apply this knowledge to a number of professions where they must identify which of the person-centred values are being demonstrated by care practitioners.

Guidance:
