Course overview - Study Period 1 and 2
During the first half term -Learners have looked at travel before and learnt the names of countries and languages. They have investigated the landscape and landmarks of a French-speaking country and learnt some key phrases to describe places. In this study period, they will delve deeper into the language around describing holiday experiences using a range of tenses, expressions, time phrases, adverbs, if clauses, opinions and an enriched vocabulary range.
During the second study period - This study period exposes learners to French culture in comparing French and English towns and cities. Tenses are further embedded; revision of present, past and future tenses and the conditional is used to describe an ideal town.

Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, including feedback in books, 1:1 interaction, vocabulary tests, self & peer assessments of including class tasks
