Course overview
Learners will start this term with mocks. They will complete one paper for biology.
After this, they will complete CTG on specific topics they found difficult during the mock. It will be up to the teacher's discretion how long they spend on these.
Finally, they will complete the endocrine system
Endocrine system; Learners will learn about the endocrine system and how specific glands are releasing specific hormones for controlling functions in the body. Learners will focus on the specific order of hormones and how they stimulate or suppress other hormones for processes like controlling blood glucose levels and the menstrual cycle. They will also learn Triple only topics such as the kidneys and how these control water content.
