TASK 1
Create a visual Brainstorm of factors relating to the unit concept and the design situation

Conduct an interview or survey to gather initial information from your client/target audience.
TASK 2
Explain and justify the need for a solution to a problem. Making detailed reference to "who" needs your product. "Where" they will be using it, and "why" they need it. (see link page to help you structure your response)

TASK 3
Develop a Research plan , which identifies and prioritises primary and secondary research needed to develop a solution to the problem.
Main topics you need to research:
Persuasive, Informative Poster Design, Infographics
A history of persuasive poster making and techniques used.
Colour
Typography (font, spacing, balance, etc)
Image use
Inks papers to create your poster (Are they sustainable?)
Software (vector graphics, Inkscape, Canva, Piktograph)
Infographics- what are they? see this collection of video presentations
Everything else you need to research to help you solve the design problem

TASK 4
Conduct your research using your research plan as a guide, and put in the appendix.

Next, analyse a range of existing products. (see link page for further details)
