Time 4 Design
Criterion B: Developing ideas
i. develop a design specification which outlines the success criteria for the design of a solution based on the data collected
ii. present a range of feasible design ideas, which can be correctly interpreted by others
iii. present the chosen design and outline the reasons for its selection
iv. develop accurate planning drawings/diagrams and outline requirements for the creation of the chosen solution.

Task 1
Develop a design specification criteria for your solution, which clearly states an accurate success criteria (see link page for further details)
Task 2
A. Create a Moodboard to help evoke the Designer in you and get creative ideas flowing.
B. Individually develop 3 feasible storyboards and character development with detailed annotation, which
can be correctly interpreted by others
Sub Task 1
Brainstorm some ideas or create a Mood Board based around your topic.
Sub Task 2
Now use this to individually develop 3 quality storyboard concepts. These should be completely different story
outlines to each other.
Task 3- (see link page for further details)
A. Testing each Storyboard design against your Design Specification criteria. Summarise your findings clearly
describing how each design has met or has not met the criteria.
B. Gather either feedback from a small focus group (peers) on the Storyboard design. Use this information to assist
in your decision of your final design.
C. Now make a professional non-biased decision on the final choice. You may even take ideas from
each group member's input and final storyboard to combine as the final. Write a clear conclusion on why
the final storyboard was chosen .
TASK 4
Develop further your final accurate storyboard and/or final character designs that clearly represents
the requirements for creating the final solution.
