PROCEDURES:
1. Begin with the ATL self-motivation tutorial 2. Tell students that before they discuss they are going to do a “free write” in response to the tutorial. Instruct students to keep writing whatever comes to mind without stopping. They can go back and edit later. Ask students to put their pencils and pens to the paper and begin writing in response to the question “How can I become self-motivated?" 3. After 3 minutes, tell students to put their pens and pencils down. Instruct them to re-read their free write and underline all of the important lines and points that stand out to them.
ACTIVITIES:
1. Have each student create an original Voki that represents them. It may look like them, or just express some important part of their personality. 2. Each student should have their Voki give a short speech (2-3 slides) about the topic of self-motivation. The Voki should give their opinion on the question, “What strategies can be used to help self-motivate?” and describe their thoughts about the tutorial. 3. Have each student present submit their Voki on Classroom.
