What is sculpting?
What is digital sculpting?
How is this different from what we did last term?
Creating an exaggerated face
What do I do?
Sketch some faces for creatures/monsters
Don't be too precious over making them look perfect
Try and give your character personality!
On your google sketches:
Sketches of your creatures/monsters
Annotation
I make a pretty ropey looking goblin thing. Try and focus on exaggerated forms and organic shapes. Sculpting can be tricky to get used to so going for something fantastical rather than realistic can help. No one knows where your goblins eyes are supposed to be!

Familiarise yourself with the sculpting layout
Experiment with sculpting tools

Watch this talk on Blender to see how a 14-yr old went from playing with Blender in their bedroom to working on Spider-verse
You can now sculpt in Blender, congratulations! The only difference between you and the pros now is time, patience and practise.Â
To develop your skills try sculpting the following:
Ghost
Food
Plant
Creature
Decide on the style and sketch your idea before you sculpt!
