It's work experience time! This term you'll be engaging with the industry directly, completing challenges before working together to produce a game for a local game jam. It's time to start taking things seriously. This term is about you stepping up, considering where in the industry you want to be and working hard towards getting there.
Intent: To respond to a professional brief. To develop your teamwork, problem-solving and professional game design skills.
Implementation: Through research, problem solving and practical tasks.
Impact: Completion of work experience criteria of the course, understanding of game development workflow, build confidence in creative and technical abilities, portfolio piece.
Industry:
This project introduces to you and models the fast-paced world of game design. You will connect with local industry professionals and learn the expectations of working in a creative media environment.
Soft skills: Teamwork, creativity, collaboration, presentation skills, time management, problem-solving, professionalism and resilience under pressure.
SMSC: Ethical considerations in game design, cultural influences, valuing each others' perspectives and contribution.

Work will be assessed in the form of weekly hand ins on google classroom, followed by a final assessment. Only the work on your college site will be assessed so it is vital you upload all work, including any development and mistakes.
