Look at examples of different types of toys that move by hand. As a class, discuss what may support these toys to move, and how they differ from battery operated toys.
Students to share or use the different toys, then classify toys based on how they move. (Wheels/Slides/ Hinges/Joints/Soft/Hard etc.)
