The Big Upset for the Chiefs

Sunday night’s game was between two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL , Patrick Mahomes faced a six time winning Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady. Many Americans watching the game placed their bet on the Kansas City Chiefs, hoping to see Brady lose the Super Bowl. Tampa Bay had the advantage playing at their home field for the first time in Super Bowl history. The Bucs knew the field and that was just it for them to secure their 31-9 victory.

The big question for the Chiefs was if Patrick Mahomes could upset Tom Brady, he did not succeed, not a single pass to score a touchdown. The first three quarters of the football game the Cchiefs had three field goals, one in each quarter. That would not be acceptable for them to pull off this win. Meanwhile the Bucs had already scored all 31 of their points. Mahomes even said in the press conference after the game that this is the worst he has ever played or have been beaten between his college and pro years.

There have only been 7 quarterbacks who have beat the most decorated player in the league, Mahomes and the team couldn’t pull it off, “ they took away all our deep stuff”, Mahomes said. Sunday night was a devastating loss to the Chiefs, but they will come back next season and learn from their mistakes. We can now say that Tom Brady and the Bucs are going to Disney World.
