The house that sits on 13 Wall Street has always been many sorts of unusual, and Jane Jenson is the kid who is going to find out why. Jane is the youngest in her family and the child to complete the Jenson family. Mr. and Mrs. Jenson has always known Jane to be an inquisitive individual aside from the other two siblings, and for some instances she puts them over the edge. In the house on Wall Street, there once was a family of ten, The Grimm family. Eight children is a quite large number for each child to go missing. The longest-lasting, deep-rooted, short-lived, theory has been going on since before Jane was born into this cruel world. Out of all of Salem, Massachusetts, no one has any clue of what had transpired. The Jenson family lives about less than a block away from Wall Street, and most times live in distress. Jane attends Crestwood High School and the only way to get there is to pass “the house” on Wall Street. Mr. and Mrs. Jenson are always anxious about her walking to and from school because of the many theories that linger throughout the town. Each family member in the Jenson household has tried to rearrange their lives around this such terror.
Today marks the thirteenth year anniversary of the last child’s disappearance… Walking outside, the morning air feels morbid. Peering into the distance in such an eerie manner to see an interesting shadow. Today feels strange. Ever since this final child of the Grimm family went missing, each year on the anniversary something goes terribly wrong. Mrs. Jenson is the first one to wake up on this odd morning, so she can wake Jane up for school. She is almost hesitant as to whether she wants to even send Jane to school or not. She decides to send her, but first has to have a talk with her.
“Jane, today is the thirteenth year of the last Grimm child going missing. If you see anything or hear of anything going wrong, let me know because I am going to work from home today. I am just too worried about something going wrong.” proclaims Mrs. Jenson.
“Mom, I am sure that everything will be okay, today is just any ordinary day. I will be fine. I promise.” said Jane.
Onto school Jane goes..
As Jane is walking to school, she purposely decides to walk at a leisurely pace past the Grimm family house. She is fully staring at the house as she sees the door wide open. Jane, as curious as she is, decides to walk in. Jane looks vicariously all around the house and everything looks vacant. The floors are filthy, the walls are grimy, and the furniture is repulsing to glare at. She walks a few steps more into the house and now finds herself near this particular door that stands out from every other door attached to this house. It had about twenty locks going down the whole door, and it seemed very private. Jane seems like she wants to go in there as well, but she continues looking around. Suddenly she hears creaking sounds almost like someone is walking around in the house. “Someone is here, someone is here. I have to leave.” Jane mumbles to herself. Not long before she sees a substantially sized man out of the corner of her eye, he continues to walk down the stairs and repeatedly yells “If someone is here, you most certainly don’t want to be.”. Jane is in panic mode. If she runs to the door he is going to see her, so she finds the closest door and hides in it. It is dark, musty, and she thinks this might be just a coat closet. She is trying to get hold of a light switch, until suddening she hears the loud, irritating, voice approaching closer to her. Jane is in full panic-mode because now she is extremely late for school, she is afraid her mom is going to be enraged with her such behavior, and she doesn’t know exactly how she is going to escape the Grimm house. Her only option is to find something to defend herself in case there is any violence involved, and to wait for the berating voice to hopefully disappear. She found a metal bar typed object. Maybe a curtain rod?
Five minutes pass…
Jane hears nothing. She discreetly opens the closet door to see if the coast is clear. It is, and she is still intrigued with this house, wanting to find out what is truly behind the theories living throughout this house. Jane at this point has easy access to the door and quickly runs to the door and leaves. Jane has no idea what her next move will be. If she goes to school she will be crazily late. If she goes home, she’s in major trouble.
Jane goes to school.
Jane checks into school about an hour late. Jane lets out a sigh of relief because she was put in a lot of danger.
A ding on her phone rings..
An incoming text from Mrs. Jenson.
“Hi. Just checking in to see if you got to school alright. Again, please text me if anything goes wrong.” said Mrs. Jenson.
“Hey Mom. I got to school fine, and I will text you, I promise.” replies Jane.
Jane gets to her third period class that her best friend Sally is in with her. “Jane, where were you this morning? You missed the huge test in the first period today.” stated Sally.
“Oh my goodness. That’s right I forgot. I went inside the Grimm house on Wall Street this morning.” said Jane.
“YOU DID WHAT? Jane, that is not okay. Why would you ever think of going in there?” said Sally in an angrily manner.
“Sally, it was absolutely terrifying, but I need answers.” replied Jane.
“Jane, this is not a situation for you to figure out. You could’ve been put in a terrible situation, and I wouldn’t even know.” explained Sally.
“Eight children can’t just all go missing from the same exact household in the span of a few years. It is just not normal, Sally.” said Jane in a determined manner.
“Again, it is not your situation to be figuring it out, and leave it to the investigators” replied Sally.
Jane did not reply.
It became time for school to end and everyday Jane and Sally take the walk home from school together, but today was different. They were not on very good speaking terms, and felt it was better to walk alone. Jane is coming up close to her street and of course ends up on Wall Street. She feels as though there is nothing being done about this and she wants to get to the bottom of this. Again, gradually approaching the Grimm house, and Jane sees the door wide open. Thinking back to when she escaped the house earlier this morning, “I slammed the door shut, didn’t I?” said Jane, puzzled and confused.
Jane goes back in the house…
The first thing she does when she is in the house is run to the door with the abundance of locks on it. Jane, pondering to find a key, finds it above the door. With a mysterious look on her face, she looks closely at the key, and there lays stains of blood. Interesting. Jane finds herself with every lock opened, and is walking down the dusted stairs at a steady pace. She reaches the bottom stairs and finds a light switch. With the flick of a light switch, she looks around this room as if it's a basement. There lies the eight dead children that have been the talk of the town. This day, for the past thirteen years, has revolved around this sickening situation. Now, Jane can put each piece together that Mr. and Mrs. Grimm have murdered all of their eight children. “How absolutely disgusting” Jane mumbles. Then goes a loud bang as the whole house rattles, and there lies Jane on the floor with blood seeping out of her head. Unaware that the substantially-sized man was behind the gun.
Jane’s phone light turns on “Jane, Where are you? Are you okay? Please come home.” said Mrs. Jenson.
