The Glass Slipper Dilemma

Bippity boppity boo… I am who I am partly because of you… Cinderella. When someone looks for a role model they are looking for someone who is kind, caring and responsible. Cinderella portrays all of those things. Being responsible has many factors. Time management is a key component in being reliable and trusted. Which in my world, is my top priority. In Cinderella's world, the difference in five minutes is the difference between getting locked in the attic or moving on with life as normal. Five minutes late or five minutes early could change many things in both of our lives. Keeping my life organized especially when preparing for college is a necessity. Knowing when I have to send in applications, if I’m planning on early action or regular decision is paramount to possible success. All depends on time.

Cinderella made it possible to get back to her house in time after doing what she always dreamed of, dancing with the prince. She completed all of her life accomplishments because she timed it out to the final minute. Along with being punctual, Cinderella is the kindest of them all. No matter how badly her step mother and sisters treat her, she still goes through life with a smile. Another one of my goals is to be forgiving and selfless just like her. She puts up with so much and in the end it all worked to her advantage. It shows being kind will get you farther in life than being mean. Being as kind as I can be will make it easier to make friends in college, get to know my professors, and put me in good graces with everyone I surround myself with.
