Week of October 21st

Post date: Oct 28, 2013 3:16:01 PM

This has been a record-breaking busy week! We had a wonderful Art Literacy lesson on Monet and the kids painted some incredible bridges! We had some great choice time with the other kindergarten class. We went to the Pumpkin Patch. We painted with water colors and tempura. We modeled letters out of playdough. We had fun with the parachute in PE. And we managed to squeeze in a lot of reading, math and science as well!

Our new letter of the week was R and our new heart words were:

like am you

Several of you have asked about the Halloween plans. The kids are welcome to come to school in costume if they'd like. We will be having a party with games, crafts and some healthy snacks. Unfortunately the All-school parade is in the afternoon. You are welcome to bring your child back to school and they can participate in the parade by joining in behind the full-day kinder class. You will need to be responsible for your child. The parade begins at 2:15.

Have a fantastic weekend!
