Pleasant Hill

[ school site May 12, 1910 ] Pleasant Hill School was made of logs.  Pleasant Hill was located about a mile down the dirt road from the first Shady Grove settlement. The Pleasant Hill School was near where Delphone Hendry grew up. Delphone said locally the school was known as Frog Pond School. Delphone went to school at Frog Pond School when he first started to school.

 

W. T. Cash once taught at this school.

 

Mary Lee Hendry taught here as her first teaching assignment.
