Buckhorn

[ community, school site & logging camp ] Buckhorn was a logging camp in the mid 1920's.

Logging camp for Weaver-Loughridge Lumber Company. Named for many deer which are found there.

Buckhorn School was located about 22 miles west of Perry on US Highway 98.  It was about three quarters of a mile off the highway.
