SOUTH GEORGIA RAILROAD
1904 -
West Coast Railroad Company completed the line from Greenville to Perry in 1904, then, promptly leased it to the South Georgia Railroad.
Brooks-Scanlon bought the South Georgia in 1946.
In 1954 the Southern Railway System bought the Live Oak, Perry & Gulf and South Georgia Railroads from Brooks-Scanlon Corp.
