Blue Creek Turpentine Co.

Turpentine - William Alston Brown (Captain Brown) operated in various capacities in the 20's. He dealt in timber, sawmills, turpentine stills and the sponge industry that flourished for a few years along the coast. The Blue Creek area in addition to being the location of the Blue Creek Turpentine Co., was the home base of Captain Brown.
