Slangkop @ Kommetjie
Location: Kommejtie, starting from the Slangkop Lighthouse OSM map
Overview: A fun short scramble up the front of Slangkop to the ruins of the old radar station
Route description: Park at the Slangkop Lighthouse. Walk back along the road to Kommejtie for 100m and take the path up to and across Huskisson Way (the road to Scarborough). Go south along Huskisson to a suitable break and find the way up wending through rockbands and avoiding the bush. There are various alternatives.
Return down the zig-zag path to the Lighthouse or explore south along the ridge and descend to Slangkop Road.

Visit the lighthouse, but checking open hours. They are limited
Take the coastal boardwalk to Kommetjie Beach, stopping at one of the many delightful watering holes in Kommetjie on the way or back.
